On 25th March 1968, a general meeting was held at the Club Hotel, Glenorchy, to form a new bowls club. The new club was named RODMAN BOWLS CLUB.
The Rodman Bowls Club changed its name to Glenorchy Rodman Bowls Club in 2010.
