Cronulla Touch will NOT be running competitions this summer. If you are looking to play Touch in the Cronulla area, as either a team or an individual, we recommend that you contact Aileen May at Taren Point Touch. Earlier this year, Cronulla Sutherland Touch Association (CSTA) corresponded, via the NSWTA, with all members of CSTA in relation to the Annual General Meeting. Of importance in this notice was the fact that the current committee were unable to continue in their role due to many factors and as such we requested new persons to consider, nominate and become a new committee.

Unfortunately only a few members attended the AGM and no one either prior to the meeting or at the meeting itself nominated to take on a committee role. As such no committee currently exists at the CSTA.Therefore it is very sad for us to advise that the outgoing committee have been forced in to making the decision that the CSTA is in effect, defunct. No summer competition will be run for the 2011/12 season and we would encourage you all to register at either Taren Point TA or Menai TA to continue playing the sport.

We will be meeting with the NSWTA in the near future to discuss the parent body holding the CSTA in trust until a time in the future that the CSTA may be able to be resurrected. We thank you for your past participation at Cronulla Touch and wish you well in the future.

THe Cronulla AGM wlil be held on Tuesday 12 July at 7:30 pm at the De la Salle clubrooms at the Captain Cook Fileds (oposite Solander) in Captain Cook Drive, Woolooware. All members are invited to attend.
