Former Coastal Junior Champion Wins WA Open Singles Championship

Junior Pairs and Fours Championships. Richardson was never threatened throughout the final winning 25-11 against David Rankin. He had earlier won his semifinal against Billy Brandsma 25-17. Richardson's previous best result in the singles since moving to WA was runner up in 2010. Luke moved to WA several years ago with the view to improving his bowls and the move has certainly paid off as he is now considered one of WA top lawn bowlers. It is believed Luke had to play up to ten games against many gun players on his way to winning his first WA State Title. Rumor has it we may see this former Tassie boy returning to the State in the not to distant future. We hope so.
