Received Recognition of Service medallion for outstanding service to Victorian Country Football League in 1983
Secretary / Treasurer of the Kyabram District Football League from 1985 - 2004
President of the Kyabram District football League for a period of seven years 1977-1981, and a further term from 1983 – 1984
Played senior football from 1963 – 1974 (210 senior games) during that period received Best and Fairest awards in the years of 1967, 1968, 1970 and 1972. Senior premierships 1964 & 1966. Represented the KDFL inter-league in 1967 & 1969
Coached Junior Football in 1969 – 1970 and 1974 where the teams were successful winning premierships in 1970 and 1974.
