A field of 21 players converged on Warracknabeal for the initial rounds of the State Singles. Whilst the number of participants was on a par to last season, the greater proportion of players were from W'Beal & W'Beal Golf and this is becoming a regular feature of these events. This is a trend which is not good for the division.
