Ladies Champion of Champions
Verna Blackley won her first Champion of Champion Title last week at Warracknabeal. The competition was played in perfect weather and conditions.
Round 1 Rainbow (WSleep) defeated Brim (B Golder) Rupanyup (J Arnold) defeated Jeparit (S Schorback)
Round 2 W'Beal Gold (I Davison) defeated Hopetoun (F Mill) Rainbow defeated Beulah(J McCredden) Rupanyup defeated Minyip (SFuncke) and Warracknabeal (V Blackley) defeated Murtoa (PRowsell)
Round 3 Rainbow defeated W'beal Golf and Warracknabeal defeated Rupanyup
The final was a very good game with some perfect bowls being played. In the end Verna proofed to strong for Wendy and won the match 25 - 15.
Verna will now play at Warracknabeal Golf on the 21st against the other Division winners.
