Have-A-Go Hockey allows individuals that have not had the opportunity to experience hockey previously to pick up a stick, hit a ball, and determine if hockey is for them.  The sessions are unstructured, meaning participants get to do what they want during a session and experience the sport their way.  The sessions are also delivered at no cost to participants, with equipment provided.

The intent of each session is to allow participants to determine if they wish to play the sport on a more regular basis.  Participant details are collected and provided to local clubs to enable clubs to attempt to recruit participants into club teams.

Upcoming Have-A-Go Sessions
The sessions scheduled in the coming months are:
March 15     Porritt Park, Avonside Drive, Wainoni                  12 noon to 2.00pm
April 14       Nunweek Park, Woolridge Road, Harewood          9.00am to 11.00am
April 20       Rangiora Borough School, King Street, Rangiora  10.00am to 12 noon
