To achieve your hockey goals you have to CHASE them
The Canterbury Hockey Association's School of Excellence (CHASE) is a skill development coaching programme that enables individual players to improve their ability to perform the skills of hockey. This programme provides participants the opportunity to engage in a curriculum delivered by quality instructors, including national players and coaches.
The philosophy of the CHASE programme is to assist hockey players to reach their full potential. To allow this to occur not only does CHASE use quality instructors, but each instructor works with a maximum of 8 participants at any time to allow for a high ratio of individual instruction and maximise time on task during various drills. It is also possible to request one-on-one sessions with an instructor to provide specialised skill development.
When Does CHASE Take Place?
The next CHASE intake is for Term 4 2009, running from the week starting November 2 through to the week starting December 7. To enroll, please download and complete the registration form from the link below:

The available session times in Term 4 2009 are:
Mondays 4.00-4.45pm
Mondays 5.00-5.45pm
Tuesdays 4.00pm-4.45pm
Tuesdays 5.00pm-5.45pm
All sessions are conducted at Porritt Park, 875 Avonside Drive, Wainoni.
Fees
Costs for the Term 4 2009 CHASE programme are:
Six week programme $ 140 (incl. GST)
One-on-one sessions $ 50 (incl. GST)
Discounts are offered for multiple registrations from the one family. Discounts are also available for current Canterbury representative hockey players in recognition of the costs already paid during the year to play the sport. Further information regarding these discounts can be obtained from Greg Clark, CHA Development Manager.
The Canterbury Hockey Association does not want to prevent anyone from participating in CHASE due to the cost of the programme. If the cost is prohibitive, please discuss with Greg Clark, CHA Development Manager.
