Senior Competition

The Canterbury Hockey Association's Senior Competition is its premier winter competition for open age players.  This competition includes as its pinnacle the Canterbury Premier Leagues for Men and Women, with additional divisions below this to cater for a wide range of skill levels.  There is even a Mid Week option for players that are not able to play on the weekends and for those that remember the 'good old days' of playing on grass, there is also still a Grass Grade.

In terms of playing dates, the following is the typical arrangement for each grade by the day of the week:
Canterbury Premier League (CPL) Men & Women - Saturdays
Divisions 2 through 5 Men & Women - Sundays
Mid Week Men - Mondays
Mid Week Women - Tuesdays
Grass Grade Men & Women - Saturdays
