The annual Legends Night function is a celebration of the the past and present.  It is an opportunity for past players at the senior level for Canterbury to come together, reminise about past glories and enjoy the company of former team mates.  It is also an opportunity for the current group of Canterbury players to gain an appreciation for the pride that exists in playing for Canterbury from those that have been there before.  Established in 2006, the Legends Night is also the chance to officially present the current players with their playing shirts as members of the team for that year.

The fourth annual Legends Night function is to be held on Tuesday 1 September 2009 from 5:45pm in the Porritt Park Supporters Club Lounge.

This is the perfect opportunity to catch up with other legends to reminisce about past successes, listen to some tales from our guest speakers and recognise this year’s players as they are presented with their playing tops. This social function will be a relaxed mix and mingle evening so dress is casual.

Please join us for what promises to be a highly enjoyable social evening and the opportunity to watch this year’s Pica Print Canterbury Cats and Heartland Hotels Canterbury Cavaliers play Queensland from 7:30pm. Tickets are only $15, which includes delicious nibbles and a complimentary drink on arrival.  The bar will be open to purchase other beer, wines, RTDs and soft drinks.
