Predominantly the Ballarat Football League Umpires Association provide officials to the Ballarat FL senior competition on a Saturday, and the Ballarat FL junior competition on a Saturday and Sunday.
BFUA Umpires are also provided to the Central Highlands FL (Senior field umpires only), the Lexton Plains FL (Senior field umpires only), and the Maryborough Castlemaine DFL (Senior field umpires only). By incorporating these competitions in our portfolio, we provide other avenues for our umpires to develop their skills.
Where possible, on match days umpires are kept reasonably close to their home base, although there is travel involved; that is the nature of the sport.
