Anthony ‘Tank’ McPhee on Saturday 5 July 2008 (Round 11) became the first player in 114 years of GVFL history to reach the 400 senior games milestone. Congratulations ‘Tank’ ! McPhee’s feat has caused a flurry amongst GVFL historians to update their records. The problem has been that some historians quote Club games as the basis of GVFL records while others include inter-league games in their totals.
Well, here’s a table that encompasses both club and inter-league games. Check out the accuracy of it all and please notify us of any discrepancies on gvfl@gvfl.com.au Accompanying evidence of any proposed changes would be appreciated.
