PROFILES
Ellen Brewster (GS /GK)
Ellen is a former best and fairest winner at the club who can play at both ends
of the court. Ellen is a natural who is
calm and relaxed under pressure. She is
very important at both ends of the court.
Zoe Walkenhorst (GK /GD)
Zoe is the 2009 Best and Fairest Winner at Bambill. She plays extremely tight and is very quick
on her feet.
Janna Tait (WA / WD /GD / GK)
Janna is a utility player who sets up many plays in attack or can hold down a
key defensive post. Very important link
player within the team.
Nat Fox (C / WA)
Nat is a centre court player who runs all day. Her passing and creativity throughout the centre court is instrumental
when attacking.
Alison Howley (WD /C)
Alison can play as a defensive player in wing defence or as an attacking player
in the centre. Can influence a game with
her intercepts.
Jackie Horkings (GA /GS)
A veteran of the Millewa and Sunraysia League who is sheer class. She has fought back strongly this year and
can easily influence a game.
Kirby Hengsen (GA /GS)
Kirby is a former Mildura Premiership player who is very relaxed in front of
goals. She showed her class in the
Preliminary final through continual run and creating space.
Rachel Bunney (GD /GK / WD)
Rachel joined the side midyear and has shown her ability to play successfully
in Bambill’s defence. She plays tight,
gets rebounds and reads the play very well.
Bianca Bunney (GA /GS/ C)
Bianca was runner-up in the Club Best and Fairest this year and can play as a
shooter or in the centre court. When in
centre she has the ability to gain many intercepts and set up the play
creatively.
Laura Milsom (A and B Coach)
Laura has led from the front this year but unfortunately won’t hit the court
today due to a knee injury. She is a
former runner up in the league medal and will provide voice and direction
throughout both the A and B Grade games.

PROFILES
Ange Farley (GS / GA / WA)
Ange has shown her ability throughout the year to play in many positions on the
court. She has held down the goals for
most of the season, whilst also playing some great games in wing attack.
Tam Warn (GK / GD)
Tam has been a linchpin in the defence of the B-Grade team this year. She came third in the Club Best and Fairest
and is rarely beaten.
Lisa Mangan (C / GD /GK)
Lisa has shown her class this season which was evident within this year’s
League Best and Fairest win. Whether
Lisa plays in the centre or defence, she continually intercepts throughout the
game.
Candice Hall (WD / C)
Candice has been very consistent this year. She plays extremely tight when in defence and can be creative when in
the centre.
Jen Shadwick (WD / WA / C)
Jen is a centre court player who runs to space and is capable of setting up
many plays with her quick, direct passing.
Eb Stanbrook (WA / GA / GS)
Eb is a dead-eye shooter who has played in premierships with the club
before. Although still young, Eb has a
wise head on her shoulders and can influence a game with her shooting and
passing.
Loz Bowen (GS / GA)
Loz has improved throughout every game this year. She has worked hard on her game and plays
well in under the ring.
Rita Lynch (WA / C)
Rita has many years of experience with the BFNC. No matter where Rita hits the court she will
be instrumental in creating play. She is
a tireless worker who will give her all.
Tracy Craig (WA / WD / C)
Tracy can either play in attack or defence. She is extremely effective with her passing, whilst also being a tight
defensive player.
Sandy Boulton (WA / WD)
Another of the experienced BFNC crew who provides continual support to those
around her. Sandy is a defensive player
who can shut down any wing attack.
Mary Gill (Assistant Coach)
Mary has shown tremendous support and leadership this year within the
netball circles. Her experience, voice
and encouragement doesn’t go unnoticed and is a vital asset within both sides’
success.
