We as a club have
benefited from Melisa’s arrival to our club last year. She brings with her a wealth of knowledge
for the netball court. Her ability to
communicate with her team mates as a friend and coach is exceptional. Her height in the goal ring is a huge
benefit.

Amanda Hederics

GA

Our miracle
goalie. We are extremely fortunate to
have her on our side. She is very
strong in the goal ring, some might say unstoppable. She is a beautiful
goalie who does not miss many goals. Her height is a huge advantage both in the goal ring and down the
Court.

Alana Brady

WA/GS

Lan is a new comer
to the club this year. Her fitness and
agility on Court is a huge plus. She
made her move into the goal ring about 4 games out from finals . A real
attacker of the ball.

Virginia Curren

WA/WD

Our strong and
steady WA. Gin is also a new comer to
the club this year. She is our quiet
achiever and gets her job done. Her
excellent passing into the ring is a huge advantage to her goalies.

Katrina Sobkowiak

C

This years Millewa
A grade Best and Fairest. She has the
ability to steady her team when needed. Provides plenty of centre court drive for her team mates and precision
passing into the ring.

Melissa Vandenburg

WD

Melissa returned to
the Court after giving birth to her second child. Her fitness is returning to her at the
right end of the season. She is able to apply great pressure and has the
ability to intercept when needed.

Tina Wilkie

GD

Tina is our super
fit defender. Always gives 110% on the
Court and won’t give up till the final whistle. She reads play extremely well and provides
heaps of back up for her team mates.

Louise Searle

GK

A solid defender
who is able to hold her ground. Reads
play well and has the ability to adapt to any game situation. Her height is
not always an advantage but her ability to jump and rebound are.

Rachel Barber

GS/GA

Rach has been our
number 1 goalie for many years, but unfortunately is not able to join us on
Court due to pregnancy. She has been
with us at every game / training and supports us 100%.

Sharnee Alderton

GS

A new comer to our
club this year, she brings much needed height and movement into the goal
ring. Her accurate shooting and
ability to rebound are a huge advantage to her team.

Norwell Biddle

GA

Nowie is our B
grade veteran. As asset to her team and is hard to beat when her goals are
on. She has the ability to position
well in the goal ring. Once she has
her confidence she will be hard to stop.

Emma Modica

WA/GA

A proud and
passionate Hawks netballer. Her
determination to get the ball is one of her advantages. She will talk her team up when needed and
provide the level playing head.

Felicity Cummins

WA/WD

Flo has returned to
the Hawks after a couple of years rest. A very fit centre court player, has the ability to run all day. An injury half way through the season saw
her miss a few games, however determination saw her back in the side in no
time at all.

Barb Budd

WD/WA

Is our little
dynamo, but unfortunately a knee injury sustained during the season see’s her
miss what she’s dreamed of doing. Her voice and encouragement on the
sidelines will see her right there with team mates to the end.

Sonia Floyd

C

Runners Up in the
Millewa Best & Fairest. Originally
Sonia played as a goalie but her move to the centre court has only benefitted
her team. She provides excellent drive
on court and accurate passing to her goalies.

Amanda Sammut

WD/GD

Amanda’s pressure
and presence in defence is one of her qualities. She will provide great back up to her attacking
half if needed.

Belinda Ietto

WD

Belinda would have
to be one of our clubs most improved. Her determination to be a better netballer is noticed by all. She has
found her place in the side at the right end of the season. Is quite the surprise package.

Fiona Riordan

GD

An excellent
defender, has the ability to read play and take intercepts at pressure times
in the game. She has the ability to
play any position on Court and is respected by her team mates.

Lainie Whitehead

GK

Lainie is the baby
of the team. She started playing with
the Hawks last year as a goalie but made her move to the opposite end of the
court this year and is developing into a solid defender. Her height is an advantage.
