Glenn Anderson, Pearcedale
Glenn Anderson began his football career playing for Somerville Junior Football Club in the Under 11's.
Glenn moved to Pearcedale Baxter Junior Football Club as an under 14, appearing in the finals as a Runner Up. He played in a Premiership side in 2007 as an under 16.
As an Under 18 Ando is a valuable player in his team. His commitment to training and his focus on his football brought him to the attention of the Senior coach and the selectors. Ando played many senior games in Season 2008 and he was only 16 at the time.
Glenn Anderson was also picked to train and represent Pearcedale Football Club in Interleague in 2008 but was unable to play on the day.
Senior Coach Jason Chapple says that "Ando is keen to learn. He has a strong body and is prepared to listen and works hard at everything he does. He played in at least 16 games last year for the Senior side, including 1 finals appearance. I can rely on him to contribute to the team effort. Ando definitely has a big future in football at the Pearcedale Football Club."
