Oliver Griffiths

Oliver is a player most opposition players of the same age would immediately recognise, having played juniors at Seaford  from U/ 9’s and has continued through as a second year U/18 at Seaford Seniors.

Ollie has been a regular representative in interleague over the years where he has gained a lot of respect from his peers, and if you saw the size of Ollie you would understand why, not big in stature but has heart as big as Phar Lap, courageous to the point at times you have to question his safety.

Ollie was awarded the Robert Harvey medal as Seaford Juniors Best & Fairest in the Under 16’s.

To look at Ollie you wouldn’t think he was a footballer, but do this at your own peril, currently playing as an on baller, his game is complimented by his ability to win the ball in close but also his ability to move the ball quickly and accurately without hesitation. As a small he can also mark tall has great hands, to date it would be fair to say he has figured in Seaford’s best in every game so far, it’s only a matter of time before Ollie will be asked to have a run in the Senior side if he continues to impress at his current level, congratulations Ollie on being nominated as a Peninsula Young Gun.
