Jeremy Everett

BIG ‘Spider’ Everett has carried the ruck load at Pakenham for the last two seasons and has become a big part of the Lions dominant midfield. His journey to the Toomuc Reserve started at Gembrook-Cockatoo juniors from where he progressed to the Eastern Rangers TAC Cup side. He then played senior football with Box Hill Hawks and Noble Park before joining the Lions at the start of last season.

Name: Jeremy Everett

Club: Pakenham

Best player seen: Peter O’Brien (Noble Park) and Ryan Cassidy (formerly at Vermont now with Pakenham).

Hardest opponent: Shaun Witherden (Keysborough). We’ve had some great battles.

Biggest influence on career: I have to say my Dad (Rob) and my junior coach at Gembrook-Cockatoo, Paul Nichols.
All time favourite sporting moment: When the Socceroos qualified for the 2006 World Cup.

My weakness is: I’m a bit of a music nerd.

Most annoying team mate: Daniel Fry and Cory Lenders for being as good as a married couple!
