Ben Tivendale
Name: Ben Tivendale

THERE is a big contingent of
Tivendales at ROC and 2009 captain Ben is at the head of the group. The star on-baller, whose brother Greg has joined him at the Kangaroos this year, came up through the junior club and is in his 10th year of senior football at Starling Road, only missing 2000 when he was at Springvale.

Club: ROC

Best player seen: Paul Corrigan at ROC and ‘Doodles’ (Dan O’Loughlin) at Pakenham as an
opposition player.

Hardest opponent: Ben Marsh (Garfield).

Biggest influence on career: My family for sure.

All time favourite sporting moment: Winning the 2002 grand final against Warragul.

My weakness is:
I can’t handle my grog and always get stitched up when I drink with the big
boys.

Most annoying team mate: ‘Bluey’ Graham because he tries to impersonate Shaun
Main all the time.
