Mitch Dickason

Mitch Dickason – Tyabb F.C.

This weeks MPNFL Young Gun nomination is awarded to the Tyabb Football Club’s Mitch Dickason.

Mitch at present is a 1st year U/18 player and is currently being coached by U/18 coach Dean Underwood.

Mitch has played every senior game with the Tyabb FC this season to Round 8. Mitch’s first senior game was against Rosebud Round 1 which ended up a draw. His form so far has been outstanding and senior coach Matt Hose is very happy with Mitch to date, saying his confidence and skill level is improving with every game he plays. Having watched Mitch play in the U/18 Interleague against WGLFL he showed he is
certainly not short of pace. Mitch possesses plenty of endurance and loves to lurk around the forward line, and also plays on the ball with Tyabb. He disposes the ball well by hand and by foot having those silky skills that are a pleasure to watch.

This 18 year Old from Dingley, works as an apprentice Baker and is a real quality kid said Mathew Hose his senior coach. He makes his way from Dingley to Tyabb twice a week to train and at 17 years of age that just shows how keen he is to play footy with us at the Yabbies. Mitch has had a decorated Junior career to date having won 5 Premierships was Leading Goal Kicker in 2004 and Runner Up League B&F. He praised Mitch for the way he stuck at playing footy and is very keen to see how he progresses
over the coming years with Tyabb.

He is certainly well liked at Tyabb and a genuine character and an absolute pleasure to coach, said Matt.

Mitch is very thankful of the support that his Dad, his teammates and the club both junior and senior have given him over the journey.

We would like to congratulateMitch with his Young Gun nomination and wish him and the Tyabb FC all the best for the remainder of season 2009.
