




The Rosebud Football Club is delighted to have Aaron Rose nominated for the Young Gun award. He is an impressive young man and a fine footballer – one of the Rosebud Junior Football Club’s great people.
Aaron debuted in April this season in the Rosebud Firsts as a 16 year old. Quite an achievement for a player who last year completed his final year of junior football in the Under 16’s and was probably expecting to play Under 18’s. But after a dedicated summer of senior training, coach Daniel Giarrusso was excited to play this dashing youngster. To this point, Aaron has played firsts in all but 2 games and is creating quite a reputation for his speed, skills and attack on the ball.
Aaron and his family, parents Glenn and Pauline and brother Matt, have been an important part of the recent history of the Rosebud Junior and Senior Football clubs - a hard-working family that have assisted in numerous ways at Olympic Park, Glenn and Pauline supporting Aaron in the Rosebud firsts and Matt playing football in the Rosebud seconds.
Aaron has had some limited training time in the Stingrays TAC cup development squads; is completing Year 11 at
Aaron Rose is certainly a ‘Young Gun’ – He has the ability to create quite an incredible senior football career. He also holds a record at Rosebud that is unlikely to ever be surpassed – He won the club best and fairest in every age group from Under 11’s to Under 16’s!
