Rookie of the Year Football

The Rookie of the Year award first commenced for the Football competition in 2003.

The Criteria for selection was that the player was in his first year in open age Football after finishing the previous year in the League's third 18 competition. The Player had to have played a minimum of 6 Senior games with best player awards in all Senior games played deciding the winner.

2003 - Travis Brighton (Churchill) 29 points

2004 - Ryan Heywood (Sale City) 53 points

2005 - Daniel Stubbe (Sale City) 37 points

2006 - Shane Morgan (Cowwarr) 34 points

2007 - Hamish Black (Sale City) 42 points

2008 - Michael Hall (TTU) & Thomas Hams (Stratford) 20pts

2009 - Jarryd Clohesy (Stratford)  41pts
