The 2013 Open Fours commenced on Monday 21st January with 31 teams battling it out at Ettalong Memorial Bowling Club.   This was followed up by play at Avoca Beach on Tuesday 22nd.   The Quarter finals were played in the morning and the semi's in the afternoon.

Semi finalists were:

Doris Kirk, Helen Stevenson, Kay White, Pamela Robson [Munmorah Utd] who defeated Fay Tilley, Patricia McFadden, Raylene Dillon, Joanne Whittaker [Canton Beach]

Lauren Williams, Valerie Brownlie, Valma Wynn, Tracy Ward [Ettalong Mem.] defeated Norma Wright, Sharon Croker, Margaret Oliver, Janice Hiron [The Entrance] 

The final between Tracy Ward's team and Pam Robson's team was played at Bateau Bay Thursday afternoon 24th.    Great bowls were witnessed and the match was played in a very friendly atmosphere.   The winners were Tracy Ward's team from Ettalong.   Congratulations to them.   They will now go on to play in the Regional Playoffs in the Lake Macquarie District on 6th August.
