Notes:
- Contact C&DNA and Registrar of Associations re availability of constitution documents (in parallel with pending enquiry with Westpac)
- Action: David to email both
- Discussion re lodgement of financial statement. Calendar year 2012 does not appear to have been done and needs to be. The consensus was that it comprises a simple statement of revenue and expenditure. Despite Yami having helped Karen with 2011 and 2010, Jo had no evidence of one beyond 2008. John offered assistance with their preparation if desired. There appears to be a cheque stub for the lodgement of the financial statement.
- Action: Jo to follow up, with John's assistance
- Rochelle offered to provide sample role descriptions from softball to use as a template. Office bearers to each have a role description. Word format to be provided if possible.
- Action: Rochelle to provide to David
- David to post Yami's diary of events for the year on the website.

- John would like a budget prepared for 2013 in order to better understand the Club's financial situation with the goal of allocating some funding to benefit the players. Initiatives could include guest speakers, training camps, excursions to professional games, etc.
- Action: Jo to prepare a statement of accounts as at 22/11/2012.
- Action: John to email CDNA re status of invoicing for insurance, etc.
- Rochelle suggested that we could organise an excursion to see an ANZ Cup round, for example. Rochelle offered to organise. Club to pay for the players and an accompanying adult. Any other parents can come at their own expense.
- Action: Rochelle to follow up and report
- Action: Pete to purchase two good game balls for each team at $24 apiece. There are plenty of training balls for anyone who wants them.
- Action: Pete to purchase good first aid kits from St John Ambulance. Yami suggested that Natasha might be able to advise which is best to buy. Purchase complete kits rather than going to the trouble of trying to make them up manually.
- Action: David to Investigate ability to host fixtures on the Sporting Pulse website, with notifications of upcoming games, for example. Rochelle highlighted that young people engage via Facebook. There was lengthy discussion regarding the virtues and disadvantages of Facebook.
- Action: David to set up Facebook page; pass on login details to John. Ensure that any information disseminated via Facebook is also made available by other means. Will check appropriate privacy settings before publicising.
- Action: John and David to continue to progress Coaches' workshop. John investigated first aid course, which is $190 for Level 1. Will be offered to all coaches.
- Action: Jo to organise VNA fees to cover Allen Sims' coaching role with the Gems.
- The following resolutions were made:
- The Club will continue to pay finals fees for teams that make the finals and encourage the other teams to attend.
- The Club will continue to pay junior coaches a $100 fee at the end of the year and provide a Christmas gift for all coaches.
- Action: David to set up post office box for the club.
- Action: David to retrieve old player details from Jo for archival scanning.
- Action: Yami and David to organise certificates from Grill'd Carnegie.
- Rochelle mentioned an indoor competition that might be of interest to some of the teams. The cost is $70 registration plus $10 per person per week. Season starts in April.
