Perry Lakes Hawks Men's State League Head Coach Shawn Dennis, has accepted the head coaching role at the NBL Club - the Townsville Crocodiles for the next two NBL seasons.

Gabbi Clayton a true athlete and very much an asset to the Lady Hawks team. Her tenacious defence and ball handling skills make her a vital part of the team.

Ryan O'Sullivan has been part of 'Team Hawks' for the past 7 years. He uses his strength and physicality to be a threat to players of all sizes.

Team Hawks has a team of dedicated and talented volunteers who help out behind the scenes each and every week. Their contributions to the club are valued and we want to share the great work they’re doing.

This week we’re paying thanks to our dedicated and talented volunteer Sebastian Komatsu, who has been volunteering as a Hawks WABL and SBL photographer and SBL floor-wiper since 2010. Team Hawks are proud to be showcasing Sebastian this week, at just 12 years of age, one of our youngest volunteers.

Having been in the game for 30 years, Men’s Team Head Coach Shawn Dennis has enjoyed an accomplished career as both a player and coach. Reflecting on the season so far and highlights along the way, Shawn also shares his own basketball journey in an impressive career spanning three decades.

Suiting up for his first season with Team Hawks, Rob Cassir is excited about their progress to date as well as what lies ahead. With solid preparation under his belt as a Wildcats development player, Cassir is already in good form and will no doubt build on this as the season progresses.

This week we check in with Lady Hawk’s Captain Belinda Mayger as she shares snippets of her basketball journey, thoughts on the season to date and a few of her favourite things.

Captain of the Men’s team, Ben Purser, is all about hard-nosed, no frills basketball. He’s a very tough player and his unrelenting style of play makes him a true asset to the Hawks team.
