Eastern Mavericks 27 v Woodville 11
Millie Tucker 12 (Bridgewater)
Taylor Moffat 10 (Mt Barker)
Nancy Kilkenny-Jones 4 (Mt Barker) The top two teams for the division put on a great game for the spectators. The Mavericks used their great team work and 'in front' defensive skills to take a quick lead 8 to 0 by quarter time. Woodville came back by attacking the basket which nearly saw them draw the second quarter, Mavericks were able to hold off their early lead 12 to 3. Millie Tucker scored some wonderful shots and Dana Main scored her first for the season. Nancy Kilkenny-Jones made several turn overs for her team and attacked the ring well. Great dribbling down the court by Tiah Hough and Charli Symons gave Taylor Moffat the opportunity to get under the ring and score. A great team game enabled the Mavericks to take out the game 27 to 11. (U10Girls2)
