New to coaching and looking for new ideas? This workshop is designed with you in mind! The course consists of 3 hours of mainly practical work to assist your development as a coach incorporating activities for practice sessions and game play. You will receive an excellent COACHING TOOL KIT, which contains many ideas in addition to those you will receive at the workshop. NO assignment or assessment – just a lot of fun and benefits for you. Wednesday 16th March - Netball New Zealand have organised an Attack Clinic presented by Belinda Colling and Leigh Gibbs covering key principles for inside and outside goal circle attack. The course is being run throughout New Zealand but will be hosted at the Walter Nash Stadium, 10 Tocker Street, Taita, Upper Hutt for those in the Wellington Region to attend. The courses starts at 6.00pm and runs for 3 hours finishing at 9.00pm. Cost for the course ise $35 to be paid to Netball New Zealand directly. Tuesday 22nd March - Netball Wellington Centre have rescheduled their NNZ Coaching Module - Attack to avoid a clash with the Netball New Zealand ATTACK CLINIC presented by Belinda Collings & Leigh Gibbs on Wednesday 16th March (see futher detail listed above). Netball Wellington Centre have decided to follow up the Attack Clinic by holding the relevant Defence & Attack modules in the following weeks to allow coaches to complement the clinic by obtaining relevant coach accreditation. Thursday 31st March - Netball Wellington Centre with support from KCP Physio will be holding a basic-level course on Strapping Injuries prior to taking the court. Handy for coaches, parents, managers, primary care and players alike to learn helpful strapping techniques to keep those injuries at bay throughout the season. Cost of the course is $10.00 per person which includes the cost of all strapping provided and any additional materials.
