2012 Registration Days

The Parkes & District Amateur Soccer Association Inc is calling for registrations for players for the 2012 soccer season.

Clubs do not have players registered through them, except for Open Ladies sides, as all players from Under 6 through to Under 15 Boys and Under 16 Girls will register with the Parkes Association as they did last season.

The Association has decided that this approach worked well last season and given the success of all divisions it is again hopeful it will lead to a more even competition.

As previously indicated the Association had done this for the Under 13/14/15 boys sides and found it to work quite successfully and with the introduction of the same set up last season for all divisions, even though numbers were down their was great feedback and the Association has acted accordingly.

The Association has also received advice that Small Sided Soccer will once again be in place from Under 6 up to and including Under 10 divisions, which means that more changes have to be put in place to cater for this.

Also, any players wanting to play soccer in the Under 6 Division, advice has been received that the required age limit is 5 (age determination is by the calendar year you are born in so if your child is 4 turning 5 in the calendar year they are eligible to play)

As all players will be registering with the Association, registration days have been set as follows, taking place between the hours of 12 midday to 2pm at Harrison Park, Parkes:-

SATURDAY 17TH MARCH 2012
SATURDAY 24TH MARCH 2012
SATURDAY 31ST MARCH 2012

Registration Fees are as follows:-
UNDER 6 TO UNDER 8               $65.00
UNDER 9 TO UNDER 12             $85.00
UNDER 13 TO UNDER 16           $95.00

Registrations will not be accepted without payment of fees.

Once registration days have been completed, the Association will then finalise sides. Sides will be published in the Champion Post prior to the competition commencing. Late registrations MAY be accepted (if positions are available) on the first competition day and will be placed into sides at the discretion of the Association

All Open Ladies sides need to approach their respective Clubs to find out details regarding registering of players and fees etc.
