Parkes Cup set to kick off
Parkes & District Amateur Soccer Association Inc. is please to announce that they will be running the inaugural Parkes Cup in 2012.
The Parkes Cup is a competition for all eligible Parkes team who participate in the Lachlan Amateur Soccer Association Inc. competition, teams are given the chance to nominated themselves for the competition.
The structure of the competition for 2012 will be run as a single pool competition with the results of the matches that teams play in the Lachlan competition counting towards their result in the Parkes Cup. Once all games have been completed the top 4 teams will then qualify for the Semi Final with the winners of these matches then progressing to the final.
2012 sees 6 teams participating in the competition with these teams being Lightning FC, Tichborne Tigers, Rovers, Services, Rawson Home Raptors and Star Hotel Expendables.
