A number of the current Executive members from 2011/12 have indicated that they will not be seeking re-election for 2012/13, one of these is long standing servant to Parkes Soccer Dawn Parker who has said that 2012 would be her last season with the Association as both Treasurer and Catering Officer, Dawn has been involved in soccer in Parkes for well over 25 years and we would like to thank her for all her time and effort that she has put in over all those years.

Current President Cameron Stone said that he would like to see more younger people with young children come in and be involved and help with the running of the Association, this will give us a better chance to sit down as an Executive and come up with an 3-5 year plan on how we can increase the participation numbers in the sport of soccer, educate our coaches and managers with the most up to date information to help them develop players and help the junior players succeed and take their playing careers to the next level in the representative competitions that are held during each year.
