Lachlan Amateur Soccer Association Inc. will be conducting a Training Day/Trials for 2014 Lachlan United representative teams for the Under 10 and 11 boys age groups to participate in the 2014 Western Youth League competition. The training day will be run by Lachlan United Coaching Coordinator Kevin Medlyn and 2013 Western NSW Mariners FC coach Cameron Stone.

The Western Youth League competition incorporates teams from Bathurst, Orange, Young, Cowra, Mudgee, Lithgow, Dubbo and Wellington and is a stepping stone competition for players to further develop their skills and take the next step in their representative careers. This competition is run during the months of April through to June on Sundays.

The Training Day/Trials will held on the following:

WHEN: Sunday 1 December 2013
WHERE: Harrison Park, Parkes
TIME: 9.00am for approximately an hour and a half

Any players who are interested in representing Lachlan United are asked to put their name forward to either Kevin or Cameron by no later than Friday 29 November 2013. Players attending the trial are asked to be in their soccer attire (shorts, boots, shin pads) and are required to bring a ball and drink bottle. All trialling players should arrive by no later than 10 minutes before the scheduled starting time.

Lachlan Amateur Soccer Association Inc. is also looking for Coaches/Managers for both the Under 10 and 11 boys teams for 2014 and should any parents be interested in taking on one of these teams on are asked to email coaching.lachlansoccer@live.com.au to request application package.

Should no coaching applications be submitted for these positions the Training Day/Trials will still go ahead but unfortunately the risk of no team being entered into the 2014 Western Youth League competition will occur.
