Welcome to Season 2016
Welcome to the start of the 2016 Parkes and District Amateur Soccer Associations winter soccer competition. It is that time of the year again when the weather turns a little cooler and we all pull out the old footy boots to have a run for our beloved soccer teams again.
Following the great success of Junior, Open Ladies and the Lachlan Men’s competition last year we are looking forward to another booming season of skilful soccer to be played by the very talented people of Parkes and District this year.
We are introducing a new program called SAP this season which will be ran by Doug Mckenzie from Forbes. It will be ran on Thursday afternoon’s from 5:50pm to 7:00pm for ages 8 through 12 commencing on Thursday 25th February 2016. All kids attending are required to bring a ball. We are also looking for interested players, spectators or anybody interested in becoming a member of the Parkes and Districts Amateur Soccer Association committee by joining our executive committee to help continue to make soccer as good as it can be in this region. We are particularly looking for two Competition secretaries one for juniors and one for open ladies. Anyone interested is asked to contact any of the committee members listed below. We are also always happy to accept nominations for people wanting to become referees in both the junior and senior ranks of our association.

This season we are also looking for local businesses to come on board to help sponsor our junior teams with new uniforms. There are a number of different packages available with the sponsorship lasting for a minimum of 3 years. Sponsorship will include a full team of shirts for the age group they decide to sponsor with the sponsors logo on these shirts.
