REGISTRATION DETAILS

Club registration fees were set at the Annual General Meeting of the Centre on Sunday 26^th April 2009. At this meeting, a range of fees were reviewed and the following schedule of fees was decided upon. The fee structure detailed below includes both a QLAA fee and a Centre fee. This fee has not been increased over the 2009/10 season fee.

CENTRE AND QLAA FEE

Tiny tots (3-4yrs)                               $25.00

 Lighting/track fee of $40.00 per family. This fee is non refundable. These funds will be used to pay the University of the Sunshine Coast for the use of the track and lights. This fee must be paid at registration. Athletes of families who do not pay the levy will not be allowed to compete unless prior arrangement has been made with the club treasurer.

$50.00 Parent levy. This  will be charged per family in lieu of parent help. This levy is refundable only at the AGM/Trophy presentation day. You must be in attendance to receive the refund unless other arrangement have been made with the executive committee. Families are required to officiate on a minimum of 14 nights. Preferrably 7 nights before Christmas and 7 nights after Christmas. Each parent that helps out on the night is counted as 1 nights help. (if both parents help out it would be 2 for the night) Parent help at Regional Championships, Relays and State Championships will be counted towards this. Parents must sign the help register on the night to be signed off as a helper. You need to meet the minimum criteria set down here for your refund. No correspondence will be entered into regarding this simple requirement.

Families that are eligible for the parent levy refund and who attend the trophy presentation will go into a raffle.

Dual Registration: Queensland Little Athletics (QLA) is offering Dual Registration for athletes in the U13 – U15 age groups. For QLA athletes who wish to Dual Register with a Queensland Athletics (QA) Club, you must follow these steps: 1. Register with a QLA Centre 2. Register with a QA Club by completing the QA registration form. You can then fill out a dual registration form which is then sent off to QLAA for a $10.00 refund.

No child is to be left at the track without at least 1 guardian to supervise the athlete's performances on the night. Any child found to not have any guardian present will be removed immediately from competition for the night until such time as the guardian returns to the arena. This is not a child minding service that we are offering but an athletics centre where parent participation is necessary for the competition to run smoothly and on time. Every parent is expected to help throughout the season.
