Football Premiers 2009
Football Grand Finalists 2007 & 2009 - Softball Grand Finalists 2007 & 2009
2010
Amata have been a tough team to beat in the Sports League. However, the 2009 premiership was Amata's first in football. They had previously finished runner's-up to Mimili in 2007 and third in 2008 having fallen to the eventual premiers Pukatja. The softball girls have been runner's-up on two occasions, 2007 and 2009.
In 2010, both football and softball sides were a little of the pace, the men finished fourth and the women finished fifth, missing the finals for the first time.
Amata will be aiming to climb back up the ladder in 2011.

2009
Amata became the third team to tast football Premiership success in the FNWSL with a win over Mimili at Ernabella. Mimili were minor premiers and had enjoyed a week off, while Amata had to come from fourth position.
They defeated Pukatja in the first semi-final before overcoming a five goal deficit in the Preliminary Final against Murputja to win by 9 points and adavance to the Grand Final.
In a very tough and close contest, the Bombers got the job done winning 10-5-65 to Mimili's 7-8-50.
The softballers also enjoyed a successful 2009 season, although they fell one win short of Premiership success. They lost a low scoring Grand Final against Mimili 3 runs to 2.
