FNWSL Community Club of the Year 2010
Football Grand Finalists 2010
2010
The bite of the Bulldogs was felt during 2010 as the Fregon men climbed the ladder to make their debut in finals.
After winning their first 5 matches of the year and cementing their finals spot, the men had weeks to prepare.
They faced Mimili in the Semi-final but had a slow start and were unable to reduce the deficit. They lost the match by 21 points.
In the Preliminary Final of 2010, the Dogs got their bite back and accounted for Pukatja by 8 points in a very even match.
They had reached a Grand Final after winning just 3 games over the 2008/2009 seasons.
The fairytale was almost completed in the 2010 Grand Final when Fregon took on Mimili at Ernabella Oval. The match was close from start to finish, but as the ball entered the Bulldogs attacking 50, the final siren sounded, leaving Fregon 3 points behind. Mimili won 9-5-59 to 8-8-56.

FNWSL Football Best & Fairest 2010
2009
Fregon are a side full of youth and exceptional talent.
The Bulldogs on their day are capable of anything, they showed this in the last minor round game of 2008, beating the previously undefeated Pukatja who eventually went on to win the premiership. They ran them ragged and an outsider looking in could've been excused for thinking it was Pukatja who hadn't won a game all year.
Fregon used the confidence from that win throughout 2009 to be more competitive each week and notch up some wins.
Consistency will come and the might of the Bulldogs will be felt, hopefully in 2010.
