Anytime the Western Port “Southern Star” Lady Steelers team is mentioned, inevitably so is Keira “Kiz”Beswick. So much the backbone of this team, “Kiz” has been paramount to the team’s success since joining Western Port back in 2008. And so it is with pleasure and pride that Western Port Basketball can announce that Kiz will play her 100^th Big V game on Sunday the 1^st April in a home game at The Steelerdome against Werribee.

The 20Twelve Steelers season is about to kick off for the Western Port Steelers Big V Program, with a series of practice games as part of their preparations for the upcoming season.

At the recent Eltham/Dandenong Tournament, held over the Australia Day weekend, Western Port saw 20 of its 22 Junior Steelers team hit the pine in preparation for the upcoming VJBL season.
