Holroyd Active Sports Day
This years Holroyd Active Sports Day saw 215 participants with disabilities spend the day having fun and staying active with a range of sports, one of them being Rugby League.
The NSWRL provided options such as pass the ball board, goal kicking, passing and try scoring relays plus agility races which gave everyone the opportunity to test and show off their skills in a fun safe environment. As usual the NSWRL Inclusive Volunteers Terry, Peter, Nickelous, Jordan and Jonno were on hand to setup drills, demonstrate skills, take photos and cook the BBQ on the day. The day also saw our friends from the Physical Disabilities Rugby League committee led by George Tonna run a series of RL modified tag games as they strive to create and promote Rugby League as a sport that is available to everyone.
The NSWRL would like to thank Holroyd City Council for the invitation to promote rugby league at the Active Sports Day.

Comment Guidelines: The SportingPulse Network is made up of players, families and passionate sports followers like you who have a strong opinion about sport. That's great - we want you to have your say and share your thoughts with the world. However, we have a few rules that you must follow to keep it fun for all. Please don't be rude, abusive, swear or vilify others. Apart from some pretty serious sport sanctions, we also can ban you and report you if things get out of hand. So play fair and have fun, and thanks for your contribution.
