2013 SNV Senior Womens Trials

 2013 SNV Womens Representative Program

SNV will be holding trials for our women’s representative team/s on March 9th and 16th from 2:45 – 5:00pm at Ryde Community Sports Centre.

I am pleased to announce that Scott Nichols will be back as Head Coach for 2013. He has warned everyone to hit the stairs and get fit! We are still looking for someone to manage the team/s. This person will liaise with Scott, distribute and record uniforms, communicate with the team and be responsible for the collection of team fees and bonds.

The SNV Womens Representative Team plays in the State Volleyball League at Sydney Olympic Park. Training will begin the first week of May and be held on Thursday nights at Sydney Olympic Park Sports Halls from 8pm – 10pm. All games are held during the day on Sundays and commence mid-June with finals held the last weekend of September.

Note: Costs for 2013 have not yet been calculated but indicative costs based on 2012 would be $320(TBC) which includes representative registration (all players must be members of SNV which is $85 for 2013), training and the SVL entry fee. Shirts are provided but shorts are the players responsibility.

We are hopeful State Volleyball NSW will run a Division 2 as well as the usual Division 1 and Honours so it would be fantastic if we could get together enough players for a team in Division 1 & 2 this year.

If you are interested in trying out for the representative team could you please RSVP to me via email and let me know you will be attending. The cost for the trials will be $10 per person per session payable on the day.

If you have any questions please let me know.

I hope to see you there on March 9th & 16th
