2010/11 VCL Rules - Summary of Changes

*Please note updated Rules of Competition and Competition Changes for the 2011/12 Season will be available shortly.

Also under review are the VCL Player Selection guidelines and the State Selection Policy and Criteria.  Once finalised for the 2010/11 period, these will be posted within this section of the website.

Once the winter season is complete, this section of the website will also contain information regarding suspensions carried over from the regular winter season into the Victorian Champions League.

Players and parents should note the following:

The Victorian Champions League has been established as part of the pathway to State and National representation, therefore FFV encourages Zone selection and support of the most talented players to participate in the VCL.  This in turn will allow them access to representing Victoria.

Cost should not be a prohibitive factor for any talented player who wishes to be considered for State representation.  FFV strongly encourages its Head zone Coaches to ensure that any player deemed to have the talent required for State level be provided with this opportunity. If cost is seen to be a restrictive factor in participation players/parents should first discuss options with Zone administration.
