Coach’s Comment: “We struggled in the first half, with poor defence allowing Hawthorn to score too easily. Though we shot well from the line, we didn’t do too well from anywhere else. Trailing at half time didn’t suit us, so we went to work defensively and pegged them back in the second half. We put some thought into our offence and reaped the benefit seeing Hawthorn fall away. In the end we all but doubled their score, finishing with some good basketball.”
