Victorians Champions League - Swan Hill 2012 Season Trials

Once again, Victoria’s best young talent will take to pitches around the state over the summer to  better their skills and come under the watchful eyes of state selectors, who will scout for the 2013 Victorian State Squads.

The season length has been shortened this year, finishing up prior to Christmas and allowing State squads to commence their training early in the new year.

While the season is shorter, there will still be plenty of opportunities for players to be identified by our talented player scouts with six gala weekends planned rather than last year’s four.

For Swan Hill players considering participating in the Victorian Champions League (VCL) you will need to register to play for the Loddon Mallee Football Club. Loddon Mallee Football Club consists of players from Mildura, Swan Hill,Echuca and Bendigo leagues.

Swan Hill Player who participated last year included Annie & Archie Bissinella, Maggie & Matt Smith, Brent Mitchell, Natalie Von Wirtz Matthews, Tara Thomas, Isabella Salvo, Hanna Doyle, and Anthony, Benjamin & Chris Lewin.

To trial for the Loddon Mallee Football Club players will need to register via MyFootball Club and attend two trials.

All players must attend one of two trials held on September 9th at Swan Hill or September 16th at Bendigo. All players MUST attend the final trial on September 23rd in Swan Hill. If for any reason you are unable to attend the trial dates players will still need to register and an email for non attendanc to be sent to

For Swan Hill players interested please contact Paul Smith - , 0427805443 after work hours or at the Swan Hill Soccer Grounds on Saturday.
