BEFORE the Dubbo Rams scored their first win of the Waratah League season over Hawkesbury on Saturday night, the next crop of stars were put through their paces by local coach Tim Griffiths and new American import Daniel Mercer.

DUBBO has made a promising return to the State League men's competition despite going down 68-61 to Central Coast Power at the Sports World Wool Shed on Saturday night.

The Dubbo Rams played a round in Lithgow on the weekend consisting of a game against Bathurst and Lithgow.
