Introduction To Basketball Course
An Introduction to Basketball Course was held in Donegal Town at the weekend. Huge thanks to Karen Guthrie of Donegal Sports Partnership on setting up and running this great course. Basketball NI’s Gavin Garland A former Irish International himself and now the new Basketball NI development officer gave a great course. Easy to follow and some great tips for the beginner coach the day ran from 9.30pm to 5.30pm and was packed with tips on coaching the young and upcoming players in the Region. Great to see so many clubs represented from around the region with new clubs Dungloe Demons and Mulroy hoops addilng to the established clubs of Blaze and Donegal Town who all had representation at the event. On behalf of all the basketball public in the region we'd like to thank Karen and Donegal Sports partnership as the game continues to grow with their support here in the North West and to course tutor Gavin Garland who came down from Belfast and delivered a fun and very informative course.
