Lake Macquarie to Participate in Dockers Community Challenge
The Lake Macquarie Dockers players between the ages of 15 and 18 will again participate in the Fremantle Community Club Challenge at Paterson Stadium, Perth in April 2013.
The players will form the NSW Dockers Team with their Sydney AFL partner club the Balmain Dockers and will head across to Perth to play against Fremantle Dockers partner clubs from Victoria and Tasmania in a curtain raiser to the Fremantle Dockers vs Richmond match on Friday the 26th of April.
The players will enjoy the hospitality of the Fremantle Dockers and the East Fremantle Football clubs while in Perth along with a number of activities planned for the team in conjunction with the WA Dockers partner clubs.
Once again in 2013, the Lake Macquarie Dockers will be involved with ‘Live the Dream’ an initiative of the Fremantle Dockers for young players to live the life as an AFL player. They will spend 7 days in Perth with the Fremantle Dockers, being mentored by the players. This is a once in a life time opportunity open to players 16 years and above.

Senior training will commence on Tuesday January the 22nd at 6.00pm, Tulkaba Oval, York St Teralba.
