Cardiff looking to make their Mark in 2013

After a 2012 season which saw them finish runner up, Cardiff have taken steps as they look to go one step further in 2013.

On-field the club has appointed three time premiership winning coach, Adam Dugan as senior coach for 2013 with training to commence tonight (14 January) at Hillsbrough Oval commencing at 6pm. Training will then be every Monday, Wednesday and Friday.

There has also been significant changes off field as well with Brendan Bailey taking over as President and new faces on the clubs executive and committee.

"The committee has been working hard on a number of items and we hope to have some exciting news on these in coming weeks", Bailey said

One of these developments is the signing of The Mark Hotel as a major sponsor for 2013.

The partnership with The Mark Hotel, which is situated on the cnr of Dickson and Morehaed Sts, Lambton (just off Newcastle Rd), will not only give the Hawks vital financial support but also give the club the opportunity to maximise the potential for players and supporters to attend Club functions given the current demographic of the Club.

Several informal gatherings over the Christmas, New Year period have seen Club members give the venue the nod of approval.

“This is really exciting for us to be sponsored by the Mark Hotel given its standing in the area and quality of service” Cardiff president Brendan Bailey, “We are looking forward to building on our relationship throughout the year”
