PHOTO COMPETITION
The Organising Committee of the 2012 Hockey World League Series Round 1 competition for Pacific
nations to be held in Suva, Fiji from December 8-15 has organised a competition for photographers.
The competition will have daily prizes for the best picture of the day to be judged by a panel.
The decision of the judges is final.
• Best hockey photo of the day
Newsworthiness, impact, technical superiority, creativity and originality will be looked at in this category.
This category will reward those who capture the emotion and drama of sport.
Entries may show action or feature imagery in the sporting arena. Images submitted for feature or magazine
purposes also welcomed.
They should display creativity, originality and technical excellence.
The daily entry may comprise of up to 10 pictures per day. FJD50.00 will be offered daily for the best
judged photo.
• Best photo for the tournament
The best photo for the week will receive USD100.00 in prize money and may be entered in the local
Fiji Sports Awards Photography competition subject to the Photographer’s approval.
The photographers to be registered for this competition will allow the organisers the use of submitted
pictures in tournament publications.

Interested parties must complete registration form and submit to Ms Ema Rupeni (ema_rupeni@yahoo.com)
or submit forms to the Main Operations Centre at the National Hockey Centre.
