Harry started playing when the Association first commenced operations.

He subsequently became a referee and coach. He was elected Vice President in 1990 and continued in that role until 2000.

In 1991, he was instrumental in starting our Junior representative programme and was our first Junior rep coach. He continued to coach many junior and senior rep teams over the years through to 2000. Harry was our first Development Officer, getting paid as a part-time (20 hours a week) employee, while actually utting in more than 40 hours per week.

He was one of the key people responsible for the development of the NSISC and was made a Life Member of NSBA in 1999.

He continues to provide ongoing services to the Association.

He has coached more Norths’ rep teams than any other person, including the Under 23 Men’s State Champions in 2000, where he was undefeated for the entire season.
