Ken Kennedy

Ken initially got involved at Norths as manager of his son, Michael’s, rep team.

At one of our AGM’s, he heard of our plans to try and get Rooftop enclosed and afterwards offered his services.

Shortly thereafter, he became a director, specifically charged with working with North Sydney Council to get Rooftop enclosed. He is one of the people considered instrumental in achieving this major milestone in the history of Norths.

In 2000, he took over as President from Graeme Reid, and remained so until 2008.

In 2000, he was awarded the Australian Sports medal by the Australian Federal Government and in 2008 was made a Life Member of the Association.
