Initially involved as a manager of a local team, Monica soon found her relationship with Norths blossoming. She became team manager for several representative teams, and started doing the bench for both Junior and Senior Representative Games.

She also became a member of several committees, and sat as a member of the Judiciary tribunal. For a time, Monica became the secretary to the Board and the various Committees of which she was a member.
