Michael arrived and started playing at NSBA in 1984, finishing up his on court career in 2010.

He started as a Junior Domestic Coach in 1999 before taking on his first Junior Representative team in 2001.

Michael has also been heavily involved in other areas of Norths, becoming a member of the Basketball Operations Committee, the Member Strategic Planning sub-committee, the Junior Rep Committee, a referee, coach educator, as well as being the occasional Judiciary Member.

To this day, Michael is still coaching Junior Rep teams, is a current Director on the NSBA Board and has more recently started the NSBA Masters (Over 40) Team. For all his hard work, Michael was awarded Life Membership in 2011.
