In terms of his involvement, Kris was first invited to play in the NSBA by Stephen Gorry in 1986 and they are still running together some 25 years later.

Since 1988, Kris has been a team manager as well as coach, helping his partner, Mary-Jane Salier, or his stepdaughter, Grace Rein, on an almost continuous basis and they are now combining in the mighty Loose Tigers.
