GAME # 5 MARCH 28, 2013 GIRLS DIVISION #1 MHS LADY DOLPHINS VS # 2 TEAM PRIVATE SCHOOL SELECTION CHAMPIONSIP

Game # 5 Girls Division. Championship Game was between MHS Lady Dolphins against Private School Girls Selection.

MHS Lady Dolphins defeated the Private School Girls selection in  a onesided match with a 72-32 victory. MHS Lady Dolphins was the only undefeated team in the tournament. Jeraldine Castillo was too much to handle for the Private School selection as she poured in 17-points in the championship game. Jazmin Rayphand was the leading scorer for the Private School selection.

The MHS Lady Dolphins are the MISO Girls Basketball League Champions. The defending Girls Champions Settsu-Red Impulse Girls Team was not able to send a team this year.

The MHS Lady Dolphins are students from Marianas High School and they are coached by Mr. Steve Jents assisted by Mr. Preston Basa. The players are Kim Ocampo, Jeraldine Castillo, Friendly Joy Pena,Lahaina Gatchalian, Patricia Echavez, Rachel Abrams, Marlene Lumabi, Jeralyn Castillo, Charlene Lizardo, Erream Badilles, Glorily Williams, and Gabrielle Race.

The Private School Selection are students from the different Private Schools on Saipan such as Mount Carmel School, Grace Christian Academy,

Private School selection was coached by Mr. Francis San Nicolas, assisted by Jennifer Douglas. The players are Aira Batallones, Kareleen Reyes, Jasmine Che, Carey Demapan, Kaylani Lebria, Jazmin Rayphand, Jenny Lee, Michelle Kautz, Danica Canedo, Crysta Cristobal, Jan nasia Travilla, and Michi Tenorio.
